Your pet's spa day could include all or some of the following:
Essential Bath for Smooth Coats
$85 to $125
Includes nails, ears, teeth, pads, sanitary, & blow-out plus deshedding. Dry coats may need hot oil or special conditioning. All baths include our no-tear hypoallergenic blueberry facial. Minimum 8-12 week schedule starting at $85 up to $125. We have a 100lb weight limit.
Essential Groom for Med/Long Coats
$110 to $160
Puppy cut, deshed, clip, scissor, neaten/trim,.. as requested. Please note we do not shave down double coated dogs because this is harmful to your dog! We take the time to properly deshed and condition the coat. Established 4-10 week schedule starting at $110 and includes all trimming, clipping, and styling as needed.
Poodles, Doodles, and Bichons
$135 to $195+
Curly coats require straightening to style and doodles also require deshedding. All p/doodles must be on a 4-8 week schedule or they could be shaved down due to excessive matting. Prices start at $135 for <10lb and go up to $195, and could also incur an additional dematting fee. Grooming time is between 1 to 4 hours.
Massage
Great for working dogs, muscle tension, and arthritis. As needed or upon request.
Handstripping
Talisha, the owner of AwbreysArk, has limited experience with handstripping. Please contact us for more information.
Bling

What is Full Service Grooming
How our pricing works
At your first appointment we will bathe and trim as needed, including nails, pads, sanitary, ears, teeth, plus go over every inch looking for lumps and bumps or any problems. Depending on breed, size, temperament, and condition of the coat plus desired trim, we will recommend a regular grooming schedule. These appointments may be at a lower cost than your initial visit yet will still include everything that your pet might need, including additional hydrotherapy for a recurring skin irritation. A regular bathing/grooming schedule will keep your pet happy and healthy.. free of mats, reduce shedding, reduce odor, keep nails short and ears cleaned, and improve the overall health of the skin.
Every pet is different, so a few GENERAL guidelines:
- Bichon with allergies and itchy skin --$165 initial and $145 every 4 weeks (includes special shampoo)
- Beagle with friendly temperament -- $100 initial and $90 every 10 weeks
- Pomeranian (heavy coat) that can be a bit fearful -- $150 initial and $130 every 8 weeks
- Large Shepherd with thick undercoat -- $200 initial and $170 every 12 weeks
- Doodle mixes should be groomed every 4-6 weeks or they can get extremely matted. They have hair that grows continuously, much like human hair. Depending on size and thickness of coat, $150-240 initial and $135-195 every 6 weeks. Some doodle mixes may require more frequent grooms especially if they have overly itchy skin and prone to hot spots or excessive matting. Any p/doodle/bichon that has not been professionally groomed within 8 weeks may incur an additional dematting / deshedding fee.

Hair, skin, ears, eyes, nails, pads, sanitary, and teeth are always cleaned and trimmed.
We also offer massage, hydrotherapy, food delivery, extended boarding, extra walks, and can even provide transport for your pet for a veterinarian appointment.
The Beginning
Five years ago I started in Chapel Hill with one van and one client. Murphy, a chocolate lab, looked at me with his soulful eyes that first day saying “Talisha, you got this!” From one dog to hundreds, from covid to barely keeping up with demand. From one van to three, one groomer to four, it has been a wonderful journey that many of you have taken alongside me. Sadly, Murphy passed away this week from cancer, and I too, realize it is time to go. As some of you may be aware, repetitive injuries have prevented me from continuing to provide quality pet grooming that you all have come to expect, so it is with great sadness, and excitement, to announce I am retiring and have sold the business.
The Transition
It has taken me a while to find a groomer / business owner that I felt was capable of the same great service you have come to expect with AwbreysArk, and John at Adore Pet Spa, along with Loki and Monique, have exceeded my expectations. Same van, same groomers, same service. I have been working with John these last few months to ease the transition as our number one priority has been taking care of our amazing pups. Please welcome John and share my excitement as we continue to grow high quality pet grooming in Chapel Hill.
The Future
With my kids now fully entrenched in their studies at university, I have sold the house and decided to full time RV for the next few years with Xander.
