The Ark
As a graduate of Nanhall School of Grooming, Talisha is certified in dog and cat grooming. Also a graduate of Equissage School in Round Hill, VA with a certificate in Equine and Canine Massage. Awbreys Ark is registered with the National Dog Groomers Association.
Our primary focus is on skin care. With a background in biology and veterinary nursing from Purdue, Talisha is dedicated to helping our furry friends find relief and comfort around hot spots and hair loss from allergies, infections, and parasites. As a full service salon on the go, we bring state of the art equipment and knowledge to you!

AwbreysArk Mobile Pet Spa is a premium pet service in the Chapel Hill / Carrboro location specializing in skin care and treating the whole animal. We also groom fosters and service dogs at a reduced rate or no charge. You will be expected to be courteous and professional to all clients, and patient and understanding with all pets. Many of our pets are with us because they are elderly, frightened from a previous grooming experience, and/or have skin issues that require the one-on-one top to bottom service we provide to every pet. This is not your usual grooming salon!

NOW HIRING - Bather
No experience necessary!
- Must love dogs
- Be able to lift 50 lb
- Have reliable transportation
- MUST BE DEPENDABLE
Salary is $10/hr up to 35hr/week to start. After learning basic dog handling and bathing skills, this will increase to $12/hr. This is a very challenging yet rewarding job for the right person. We groom one dog at a time, taking our time and pampering each of our furry friends.
